Blade's look from the Wesley Snipes films (1998–2004) is all black and very recognisable: a long black leather coat over a black tactical vest, black trousers, combat boots, black gloves, dark wraparound sunglasses and a sword in a scabbard on his back.
It's a costume that rewards fit and texture. Matte black tactical pieces under a heavy coat look far better than a shiny one-piece costume, and the coat and sunglasses do most of the work. Bring a toy sword only if the event allows it.

About the character
Blade was created by writer Marv Wolfman and artist Gene Colan and first appeared in Marvel's The Tomb of Dracula #10 in 1973. He is a half-vampire "daywalker" who has vampire strength without their weaknesses and hunts vampires.
Wesley Snipes played him in Blade (1998), Blade II (2002) and Blade: Trinity (2004). The first film's success is often credited with showing studios that Marvel films could work, ahead of X-Men (2000). Snipes returned as Blade in Deadpool & Wolverine (2024), and Marvel Studios announced Mahershala Ali in the role in 2019.
